Pendle Leisure Trust - The Good Life Project

Share your skills and time to support The Goodlife Project, based at Hodge House Allotments, Reedyford Road, Nelson (opposite Holy Saviours School) or our satellite sites at Hodge House Community Garden, Regent Street, Nelson or Open Gate Community Allotment at Intake in Colne.

Volunteer with us and make a difference to people affected by isolation and mental health. We have rewarding roles at our community allotments where we provide therapeutic horticulture activities. Volunteering is a great way to learn new skills and meet new people at the same time as helping your local community.

About Pendle Leisure Trust - The Good Life Project

The Good Life Project is a therapeutic horticultural programme run by Pendle Leisure Trust. We are based at Hodge House Allotments in Nelson, Lancashire and we improve the health and wellbeing of individuals who may be isolated, inactive or have mild to moderate mental health issues.

What skills do I need?

We always welcome support with:-

• Day to day horticultural activities

• On site allotment maintenance and assistance with DIY

• Site Development - Joinery, building, landscaping etc.

• Fundraising - Why not run an event for us?

The list is endless and there is bound to be something you will enjoy!
