ParkPlay
Bringing the energy, warmth & community spirit to every session.
From planning activities and encouraging people to join in, to helping sessions run smoothly and making everyone feel included, PlayLeaders play a huge role in bringing communities together.
You won’t be doing it alone. Sessions are led by teams, the responsibility is shared, and many PlayLeaders volunteer just once or twice a month.
For lots of people, it becomes one of the best parts of their week.
To start your PlayLeader journey, visit our Team Hub to complete a one-hour online training course, plus a DBS check and first aid training if required.
ParkPlay is a charity with the aim to help build communities through weekly, free sessions of play for all ages.
The sessions are lead in the chosen park by a team of volunteers.

You would be expected to Lead sessions with helpers, on a rota basis, done respectfully by the play director. We always love to see the PlayLeaders get involved most weeks but we understand you cant be there every week, and we never would expect that.
