Patient Transport Driver

Pendleside Hospice

Supporting our Health, Wellbeing & Rehabilitation team, you will collect Service Users who require transport to the hospice, drop them off, and then return to collect them to take them home again. You would be required to use your own car and mileage expenses will be reimbursed. We also have a hospice minibus for multiple patient transport that you could be trained to use if interested in this. Areas we cover include Barnoldswick, Earby, Nelson, Colne, Burnley and Padiham. We also have ‘Driver’s Mate’ roles available to support our Minibus drivers.

The session times that patients attend at the Hospice are from 10am until 12pm and 1.30pm until 3.30pm each day. You could commit to a morning, afternoon or both once per week, or volunteer on an ad hoc basis when available, it is entirely up to you!
