About Read Easy East Lancashire

Read Easy is a volunteer led organisation aiming to help adults learn to read. We do this by offering free, confidential and one to one reading support with fully trained Reading Coaches. Reading makes a difference and enables adults to fully engage in our modern society.

What skills do I need?

Spotting potential volunteers

Processing Volunteer Applications

Interviewing volunteers along with others

Requesting and following up reference requests

Collating equalities forms and volunteer feedback questionnaires

Some administrative and IT skills

When do I need to be available?
